Fountain Pen Knife Fight is where I write about the creative life with a dark edge—the struggle, the obsession, the fear, the failures, the fiction, the ghosts, and the grit it takes to make anything at all.
I write comics, novels, short stories, essays. My fiction is made up of psychological thrillers, speculative fiction, and horror. I’m fascinated by the weird, where what is off is so slight, that you have to look for it. I’m an MFA student, a father, a veteran, and a full-time writer clawing my way toward the career I want.
